We loved having another Matrix Theatre production in our 2009 season – this time The Kursk, reshaped for a national tour from its initial 2007 season at Metro Arts.

The Kursk looks fantastic. It was never going to be easy to bring the story of a submarine disaster to the stage, but clever design (Michael Futcher) and an eerie soundscape (Luke Lickfold) lend the production a cinematic tension… The Kursk is yet another triumph for Matrix Theatre, the theatre company established by the multi-talented creative team of Michael Futcher and Helen Howard.
